EGI 2 Project work “Lighting and appliance circuits installed embedded in plaster”

The wiring installation training system for “Lighting and appliance circuits” is a multimedia training project covering the following topics:

• Installation circuits, planning, calculation

• Cables, calculation, installation

• Sub-distribution, planning,

• Protective measures conforming to VDE standards

Various support panels make it possible to carry out installation embedded in plaster, exposed on top of the plaster or specifically for damp environments (bathrooms and toilets). The various installation projects are implemented in authentic practical fashion based on a four-row sub-distribution box .

The training objectives:

• Installation of on-off and multi-way circuits

• Installation of intermediate multi-way circuits

• Installation of multiple switch circuits

• Installation of circuits using current pulse relays

• Dimming fluorescent lamps

• Dimming halogen lamps

• Installation of a motion sensor for external lighting

• Installation of multi-function comfort switches

• Protective measures to prevent electric shocks

• Testing RCDs

• Measurement of insulation resistance, earth resistance and loop resistance

• Test of three-phase rotating field, measurement of protective earth resistance, equipotential bonding

• Lightning and excess voltage protection

• Documentation, handover and test report
