Wiring harness repair

A core competence in automotive technology is the repair of the cable or wiring harness which is needed in the repair shop on an almost daily basis. There are numerous reasons why it might be necessary to repair the cable harness or individual wires or sets of cables. This work is compounded by the increased complexity and sensitivity of the cable harness as a whole. Smaller cross-sections for wires, cables and terminals, sensitive signals travelling at high transmission speeds, less and less space creating more restricted access and complicated, networked electronics all lead to a significant increase in degree of difficulty.
