DC/DC step-up / boost converter in the inverter (UniTrain)

In some high voltage systems, the electric motor requires a higher voltage than that which can be provided by the HV battery. In this case, the inverter must convert respectively boost the battery voltage. This is why this type of inverter is also called “boost inverter”. This course explains the exact functioning of the voltage conversion by means of interactive theory and practical experiments.
