FlexRay

The FlexRay communication bus is a deterministic, fault-tolerant, high-speed bus system developed together with the automotive industry. FlexRay provides the fault tolerance and deterministic performance required by X-by-Wire applications (e.g. Drive-by-Wire, Steer-by-Wire, Brake-by-Wire etc.). The UniTrain training system offers the possibility to put a drive-by-wire system into operation. The communication is based on two real FlexRay participants whose communication can be analysed metrologically.
