EMW 10 MAKING TRANSFORMER WINDINGS

This training system takes a hands-on approach to teach how a three-phase transformer is constructed. It is possible to put together a completely functional transformer, the response of which can be investigated with the aid of a load.

Training objectives:

Electrical and mechanical assembly of single-phase and three-phase transformers
Determining winding data
Making windings
Standard operational testing for transformers
Connection, wiring and commissioning
Differing operating responses with various loads and circuits
